At a poetry slam, self-written literary texts on individual topics are performed in front of an audience. Profound poetry can be just one type of poetry slam. Anything is possible: from heart-wrenching stories to charming and witty storytelling with a comedy touch to rap lyrics.
Once again this year, we are offering a workshop on poetry slams in the run-up to the slam, where you can expect an exciting mix of different styles and moods, which are always linked to the individual type of presentation. With the help of the well-known slammer August Klar, you will have the opportunity to find your individual style and mood and, if you wish, to perform it on the poetry slam evening.
