We are on the Future Mile in Paderborn and are actively shaping the next generation of innovations. Our focus: practical research for mechanical engineering, the automotive industry and related sectors. We develop intelligent products, production systems, services and software applications.

In the Digital Transformation department, we work with our industry partners to develop solutions and concepts for the digitalisation and sustainability of the entire organisation. Our core competences lie in strategy development, business-IT alignment and the development of data analytics solutions.

What you will do

  • Development of methods and concepts in the research project and their modeling in the modeling tool
  • Various research tasks and giving presentations of results
  • Support in the preparation of scientific publications
  • Preparation and follow-up of workshops
  • Possibility to implement individual IT solutions and process models

What you bring to the table

  • You are motivated and enjoy working independently
  • You are studying business informatics, computer science, mechanical engineering or are interested in technical and economic issues
  • You are interested in application-oriented research questions
  • Very good MS Office skills and willingness to familiarize yourself with modelling tools (LeanIX, Archi)
  • Very good language skills in German and good language skills in English
