AStA LitParty

Die LitParty vereint frisch geschriebene Texte, Livemusik und Impulse zum Thema »Identität«. Am Abend wechseln sich Geschichten, die von ihren Autor*innen gelesen und performed werden mit live gespielten Songs ab. Die Setlist dichten die vier Schreibenden am Veranstaltungstag: Alle Texte enden auf die ihnen folgenden Musiktitel.

Das Publikum schlürft Kaltgetränke während es den Texten lauscht, bis die Band die Tanzfläche eröffnet.

Das Konzept, bekannt als bal littéraire, wurde in Frankreich erfunden und hat sich dort in Rekordzeit an Theatern und auf Festivals verbreitet. Auf London, Rom und Madrid folgte 2010 der erste deutsche bal in Bonn.

Die LitParty findet im Rahmen der Paderborner Literaturtage in Kooperation mit dem Literaturbüro OWL und dem Kulturamt Paderborn statt.

🇺🇸 The LitParty combines freshly written texts, live music and impulses on the topic of „identity„. In the evening, stories read and performed by their authors alternate with songs played live. The setlist is written by the four writers on the day of the event: all texts end with the music titles that follow them.

The audience sips cold drinks while listening to the lyrics until the band opens the dance floor.

The concept, known as bal littéraire, was invented in France, where it spread to theaters and festivals in record time. London, Rome and Madrid were followed by the first German bal in Bonn in 2010.

The LitParty takes place in the context of the Paderborn Literature Days in cooperation with the Literaturbüro OWL and the Kulturamt Paderborn.
